My recent love of all things port is inspiring me to consider getting into spirits. I read about this brandy producer in the NY Times (though the article was attempting to tout the producer’s absinthe). Now I have to convince Jarvis to let me buy a $150 bottle of brandy. I think it can be done, if I try hard enough.

For lunch I had a Bumblebee chicken salad snack pack. A tiny can of pre-made chicken salad with 5 tiny crackers. I feel dirty.

Hmmm...
I made the butternut polenta, but some things didn’t work out.
1. I couldn’t find smoked Gouda, so I got smoked Provolone. Not the tastiest substitution, so stick to the recipe.
